Infrastructure Minister has announced that a £195,000
carriageway resurfacing scheme on Ecclesville Road, Mill Street,
Tattyreagh Road and Kiln Street, Fintona will commence on Monday
10 June 2024.
The resurfacing scheme will extend from the Tattyreagh Road along
Ecclesville Road and Kiln Street to the bridge near King Street,
Fintona.
To facilitate the safe delivery of the scheme it will be
necessary to implement a continuous road closure at Ecclesville
Road from Tattyreagh Road to Mill Street/Kiln Street, between the
hours of 8.00 am on Monday 10 June 2024 until 5.00 pm on Sunday
16 June 2024.
During these times, signed diversionary routes will be in place
via Tattymoyle Road, Main Street/ Carnalea Road and vice versa.
The Department has programmed the work operations and traffic
management arrangements to minimise inconvenience. However, while
steps have been taken to accommodate local access throughout the
scheme, road users should expect some delays and are advised to
allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the
works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic
restrictions.
Subject to favourable weather conditions, the works will be
substantially complete by Sunday 16 June 2024, however the
Department will keep the public informed of any change.
