Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (New Drivers) Bill to be introduced on May 7

Labour MP Kim Leadbeater will introduce a bill under the Ten-minute rule procedure on Tuesday, May 7th.

It is entitled Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (New Drivers) and a brief description is as follows...

That leave be given to bring in a Bill to make provision about licences issued to new drivers for the period of six months after the issuing of the licence, for the purpose of increasing safety for road users; and for connected purposes.
