Welsh Conservatives: Once again Labour are not listening

Responding to the news that teachers are considering strike action due to the school holiday reform, Laura Anne Jones MS, Shadow Education Minister, said: 

“Labour continues to ignore calls from teachers to scrap this ridiculous experiment. 

“The Labour Government’s latest pet project has been overwhelmingly rejected by teachers, parents and industries across Wales. 

“The Welsh Conservatives would scrap Labour’s senseless summer holiday reform and focus on the fundamentals of education in Wales, to save Labour’s lost generation.”
