Leading early years membership
organisation, the Early Years Alliance has announced the line-up
for its fifth virtual annual
conference.
No child left behind: Putting the
needs and voices of children at the heart of decision-making,
will take place online from 6:15pm to 8:45pm on Thursday 26 June
and is once again free for Alliance members and £15 for

The conference will explore what it
really means to put children at the centre of early years
provision and will look at practical steps early years providers
can take to provide equity of access for all children, regardless
of their background, circumstances or level of
need.
This year's opening conference
features Waterstone's Children's Laureate Frank Cottrell-Boyce
alongside Dr Melernie
Meheux, educational
psychologist and certified play therapist. The Alliance's chief
executive Neil Leitch will also address attendees on the
importance of ensuring that every child can benefit from early
years education and care.
The evening will also see the
announcement of this year's Belle Tutaev Lifetime Achievement
Award winner. Each year, the award recognises a unique individual
who has devoted themselves to making a real difference to young
children's learning and care.
Attendees will then have the
opportunity to join one of three interactive seminars live. Each
seminar will also be recorded and circulated to attendees after
the event.

year's Alliance Annual Conference.

regardless of their background or circumstances – deserve the

explore what this looks like in practice, both now and in the
future.
