Plaid Cymru response to ICC arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu

Responding to the news that the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leader Al-Masri, Plaid Cymru Westminster leader, Liz Saville Roberts MP said:

“The International Criminal Court's arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leader Al-Masri pose a massive challenge to those who purport to support a rules-based international order.

“This includes the UK Government who must fully support the ICC's decision.

“The UK must also fulfil its other international obligations to prevent genocide by halting all arms sales to Israel and ending all support for the illegal occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territories.”
