Written Statement (Wales): NHS Performance and Productivity Ministerial Advisory Group – Terms of reference - Nov 5

Jeremy Miles MS, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care: On 1 October 2024, I issued a statement announcing the appointment of an external Ministerial Advisory Group on NHS Performance and Productivity, which will provide an independent review of the existing arrangements in place to support improvements in NHS Wales. 

The group met for the first time on 25 October 2024 and I was pleased to have an opportunity to attend part of that meeting to set out my commitment to and expectations of the Group.

I am today publishing the terms of reference and as previously indicated I expect the Group to provide me with their independent advice by 31 March 2025.
